- Tenure – The position is temporary for the duration of the project, but is subject to review and extension upon satisfactory performance review every six months.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Applicants should provide evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program. Desirable skills include experience in computational analysis at systems-level, understanding gene/chromatin regulatory networks, and proficiency in Python and/or R programming. Experience in working with plants and performing molecular biology experiments is also preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The fellowship is Rs. 58,000 per month plus 10% HRA for candidates who produce the Ph.D. certificate. For those whose Ph.D. degree is awaited, the fellowship is Rs. 42,000 per month plus 10% HRA, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending. A nominal research grant will also be available under this program.
