🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• Project Scientist II

Essential: Ph. D. in Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering with specialized demonstrable research expertise in hydrogen generation/ storage technologies In addition to above, a minimum 03 years of research / teaching. Industrial experience (Postdoc) in the relevant fields is mandatory to the position of PS-II.

• Senior Project Associate 

Essential: M.E./M. Tech in Chemical/ Energy First Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. A minimum 03 years of research experience in high- pressure reactor designing/ fabrication. Desirable: (for both PS-II & SPA)  Sound knowledge of reactor engineering.  Candidates should have good knowledge of gaseous reactions & technology, handling of high-pressure reactors, fire safety and engineering  Preference will be given to candidates with experience strong aptitude for applied research and should be able to plan experiments and write reports and articles.

Note: (i) (*) ‘The crucial date’ for determining the upper age limit is 22nd September 2026. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. (iii) The PS-II will be deployed on a full time basis at DIAT, whereas the SPA shall be engaged on a full time basis within the industrial partner’s facility at Bhumi Green Envirocare, Magarpatta, Pune. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions for above mentioned posts as mentioned in Para 1 above, may attend the ‘Walk-in-Interview’ at this Institute on 22nd September, 2026 at 1100Hrs, along-with their original Certificates/Testimonials etc (together with a set of attested copies of each) for detailed scrutiny. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer.
