ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Young Professional-II. The ICAR-IARI is a premier institute dedicated to agricultural research and education. It plays a pivotal role in advancing agricultural practices and technologies in India. The institute is now seeking to hire two Young Professionals-II on a short-term, contract basis to support its research initiatives.

Position Details

• Designation: Young Professional-II
• Number of Positions: 2 (One each at Rakhra, Punjab, and Mandasaur, M.P.)
• Remuneration: ₹42,000 per month (Fixed, No HRA)
• Contract Duration: Initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and requirement
• Age Limit: 21-45 years (Relaxation as per rules)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Experience in field/lab experimentations, molecular marker techniques, data analysis, and documentation is desirable.

Terms and Conditions

• Selected candidates must sign a Declaration of Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
• A Medical Fitness Certificate from an MBBS doctor is required before joining.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Engagement is purely temporary and does not guarantee a permanent position.
• Leave entitlement includes 8 days of casual leave and 2 restricted holidays per year.
• Female candidates are entitled to maternity leave as per norms.
