For the Disciplines of Commerce, Sciences, Languages and Library Sciences
The qualifications for Guest Faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for the regular Assistant Professors of Universities/Colleges in the UGC/AICTE/NCTE/COA/RCI Regulations. Candidates must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or an equivalent test. Ph.D. holders are exempted from the NET requirement.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The remuneration for Guest Faculty is Rs 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs 50,000/- per month. Any subsequent revision in the rate of honorarium shall be applicable only after a decision to this effect is made by Mizoram University.
