• Projects titled – “(1) Towards Millimetre Wave Communication in 6G a Tracking Hardware Independent Line of Sight Approach” , (2) “Verification of Probabilistic Programs to be carried out at the Advanced Computing & Microelectronics Unit (A.C.M.U.) “Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
• Tenure of appointment (for all projects) – Till at most March 31, 2027 from the date of joining the Institute, which may be extended later/ terminated earlier based on the performance and availability of the required funds for the corresponding project._

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

For Project (1) : B.E./M.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc./MCA/PhD (submitted or awarded) in Computer Science or M.Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent degree in CSE with very good academic record all through, and having very good knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and graph theory with proficiency in coding in Python / C / C++. Prior work experience in wireless networks/ cognitive radio/ Mobile Computing / 5G is preferred. Final year final semester B.E./M.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc. students can also apply.

For Project (2): BCA/B.E/B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.Sc./Ph.D. (submitted or awarded) in CSE/ ECE/ EE with a very good academic record all through and having very good knowledge in programming, data structures and algorithms with good knowledge of Linux and proficiency in coding in html, CSS, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, .NET and Python / C / C++. Final year final semester students can also apply. Prior research experience in the area of networks is preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

A consolidated pay Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-one thousand only) per month for candidates with BCA./B.E./B.Tech. Degree (awarded/about to complete final examination). OR Rs.35000/- (Rupees Thirty-five thousand only) per month for candidates with M.Sc. in Computer Science/MCA/MS or M.E./M.Tech degree (awarded/about to complete final examinations) OR PhD (submitted/awarded).
