🎯 Project Details

  • Project titled “Advancing Pandemic Preparedness: Innovative Multidisciplinary Strategies for COMBATing Severe Dengue” at the Manipal Institute of Virology (MIV), Manipal.
  • Duration of the Project: Initially for a period of One year and extendable upto four years based on performance and project requirements. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

The candidate must have an M.Sc. in Virology, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institution, with two or more years of research experience. Desirable qualifications include passing a National Eligibility Test such as CSIR-UGC or GATE. Preferred experience includes research in dengue/arbovirology, viral infections, molecular diagnostics, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, immunological assays, or handling of clinical samples.

Desirable skills: • Experience in cell culture, viral/clinical sample processing and/or immunological assays. • Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques such as PCR/qPCR and nucleic acid extraction. • Experience in data analysis, scientific documentation and research reporting. • Good communication, organizational and teamwork skills. • Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary research environment. 

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA per month
