Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.
The candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course, selected through a process described under any one of the following:
- Scholars who have qualified through National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, including Assistant Professorship, and with a valid GATE score.
- Candidates selected through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions, such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IITs, IISc, IISERs, NISER, or other equivalent national-level examinations.
Desirable qualifications include a strong academic background in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related disciplines, with experience in MAX phase synthesis, porous materials, and Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) synthesis.
