The pay level applicable to the advertised posts shall be as per the State University Pay Scales as below: i. Assistant Professor 57,700 (Basic Pay) ii. Associate Professor 1,31,400 (Basic Pay) iii. Professor 1, 44,200 (Basic Pay) Note: DA and Other allowances will be as per the Govt. of Meghalaya rates

Application Fee: The application fee shall be paid exclusively through the recruitment portal as indicated below: 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for General candidates and 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for ST/SC/OBC candidates. Method of Selection: The method of selection shall comprise two stages, namely: (i) Shortlisting of candidates based on the prescribed criteria, and (ii) Personal Interview, with final selection made in accordance with the provisions specified below: – a. Shortlisting of candidates: Academic score as per Appendix II Table 3A of UGC Regulations, 2018 shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview. i. Short listing of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor: Shortlisting will be based on academic score as per Appendix II Table 3A of UGC Regulations, 2018. ii. Short listing of candidates for the post of Associate Professor & Professor: Shortlisting will be based on verification of minimum eligibility, API Research Score verification, and evaluation of publications as per Appendix 11 Table 2 of UGC Regulation, 2018

Personal Interview i. Candidates will be called for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for Assistant Professor, 1:5 for Associate Professor and 1 :5 for Professor relative to the number of vacancies based on short listing scores. Final selection will be based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview. 

** *Only candidates who have produced all the required documents in original relating to their educational qualification, date of birth, caste, community and other certificates wherever required and prescribed by Rules will be deemed qualified to be called for Personal Interview
