🎯Project Details
- Project entitled – “Indigenous Knowledge and Traditional Healing Practices among the Chuktia Bhunjia and Kuntia Kondh Communities of Odisha”, under the Project Director Professor Amiya Kumar Das, Department of Sociology, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur – 784028, Assam. The interview will be conducted in hybrid (online/offline) mode.
- Duration: Field Investigator – Initially for a period of three (03) months or until further order, whichever is earlier, which may be extended based on the need of the project and co-terminus with the project. Duration: Research Assistant – Initially for a period of two (02) months or until further order, whichever is earlier, which may be extended based on the need of the project and co-terminus with the project

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Field Investigator: Graduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference for candidates with a four-year graduation program.
Research Assistant: Postgraduate in Sociology, Social Anthropology, Anthropology, or any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference for candidates qualified in NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
Desirable: Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, ethnographic fieldwork, and data entry/analysis using SPSS/Excel/NVivo. Familiarity with Odia language and tribal communities of Odisha is advantageous.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Field Investigator: ₹15,000 per month (consolidated) as per ICSSR norms.
Research Assistant: ₹20,000 per month (consolidated) as per ICSSR norms.
