Qualification & Experience / Requirement
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. with a first-class or equivalent in the preceding degree and an excellent academic record throughout. Experience requirements vary by position:
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum of 3 years post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research/industry.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- Associate Professor: Minimum of 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor.
- Professor: Minimum of 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor.
Salary / Remuneration / Pay Scale
Salaries are as per the 7th CPC pay levels, with additional allowances. Specific pay levels are:
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Pay Level-12
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Pay Level-10 or 11
