- Project Title – “Study on National Waterway Quality and Tidal Influence on Corrosion Insights for Inland Vessel Maintenance: Toward Efficient Dry Docking and Maritime Vision 2047“
- Funding Agency – Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW)
- Investigators – Dr Aditya Kolakoti (PI), Mr Chinmoy Sarkar (Co-PI)
- Duration – Maximum 3 years or till the completion of project tenure (whichever is earlier)
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
M.E./M.Tech. with First Class in Marine Engineering/ Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Production Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university/institute with a strong academic record. AND B.E./B.Tech. with First Class in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Production Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university/institute with a strong academic record.
Desirable Qualifications Knowledge in optimization techniques, AI & ML modelling, Image Processing, MATLAB, Simulation and corrosion analysis. Research articles in peer reviewed journals indexed in Scopus/WoS.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (Years 1–2); Rs. 42,000/- + HRA (Year 3).
