Essential qualifications for Assistant Professors include a Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject and a Ph.D. degree as per UGC guidelines. As Per Norms. The pay scale for Assistant Professors ranges from Rs.57,700.00 to Rs.1,82,400.00, while other positions have varying pay scales as detailed in the official notification.

For Junior Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory bearer and Grade- IV, a fee through non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates & PwD) drawn in favour of Registrar, Nagaon University, payable at Nagaon, must accompany the application. In case of multiple applications, the candidate needs to pay application fees separately.
