The University was established on 2nd October 2000 under Uttar Pradesh Agriculture University Act (revised) 1958 gazette and notified vide 3204A/X12-8-2000. It was inaugurated on 28th March 2002 by the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized and funded by U.P. Govt. & ICAR, Govt. of India. It is included in the list of recognized Universities maintained by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India.

The university is going to hold Walk-in-interview for engagement of Guest Faculty for teaching in Academic Session 2022-23 (Ist Semester) on dated 21.10.2022 at 10:00 AM in the Vice Chancellor committee room at SVPUA&T, Modipuram, Meerut (UP) as per the schedule given under. If there will be any change in scheduled date, it will be uploaded at University Website. The Interested candidates should appear for interview with the application as per application form for Guest faculty available on University website, along with all original certificates and testimonials as per qualifications and terms & conditions given below. The superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.

Master Degree in concerned discipline with NET /Ph.D. as per UGC norms (For core branches of Engineering B.E./ B.Tech. /B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees)
College of Biotechnology
Master Degree in Biotechnology /Bioinformatics /Microbiology with NET/Ph.D. as per UGC norms
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Fixed Honorarium 1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month
