🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Key Requirements
• An MBA with a PhD in a relevant subject/field
• Minimum of 10 years of academic experience in higher education, with a strong background in business administration or related fields.
• Ideally, around 5 years of hands-on experience in the corporate sector, bringing practical industry insights to the academic setting.
• Proven track record of leadership, team management, and driving academic or corporate initiatives.
• A visionary mindset with a creative flair for innovation and the ability to inspire others towards transformative change.
• Demonstrable experience in institution/department accreditation processes is a definite advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
• Mentor and inspire faculty members while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment conducive to learning and research.
• Spearhead initiatives to bridge academia and the corporate world, fostering partnerships and experiential learning opportunities for students.
• Oversee the administrative functions of the department, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise the delivery of the curriculum in alignment with university guidelines and schedules.
2. Introduce innovative strategies and activities to enhance skills within the MBA program.
3. Uphold and enforce academic standards within the department.
4. Act as a representative and contribute to internal quality assurance processes like NBA/NAAC/IQAC, ensuring compliance and improvements.
5. Adhere to directives provided by the Principal, ensuring alignment with the department’s objectives.
6. Allocate subjects to faculty members well in advance of the semester commencement.
7. Collaborate with faculty to design an effective timetable for courses.
8. Conduct weekly departmental staff meetings, documenting key discussions and decisions.
9. Gather and analyze student feedback regarding faculty performance on a subject-by-subject basis, offering guidance to enhance teaching methods and academic support.
10. Provide necessary counseling and guidance to students when required.
11. Coordinate industry visits, guest seminars, and faculty events to facilitate student engagement with accomplished industry professionals.
