🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION

महाराजा सुहेल देव राज्य विश्वविद्यालय, आजमगढ़ की स्थापना उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा अपने राजपत्र अधिसूचना संख्या-1446/79-वी-1-19-1(के)-3-19, लखनऊ, दिनांक 5 अगस्त 2019 के माध्यम से की गई थी। अधिसूचना संख्या- 610/सत्तर-1-2021-16 (74)2018 टीसी, लखनऊ, दिनांक 28 अप्रैल 2021 के अनुपालन में विश्वविद्यालय का प्रथम शैक्षणिक सत्र 2021-2022 से प्रारम्भ किया गया। यह राज्य सरकार का विश्वविद्यालय है जिसका आवासीय परिसर आजमगढ़ में है और संबद्ध कॉलेज उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्वी क्षेत्र में आजमगढ़ और मऊ के दो जिलों में फैले हुए हैं। इस विश्वविद्यालय के प्रारंभ होने तक उपरोक्त दोनों जिलों के संबद्ध महाविद्यालय वीर बहादुर सिंह पूर्वाचल विश्वविद्यालय, जौनपुर से संबद्ध थे। वर्तमान में महाराजा सुहेल देव राज्य विश्वविद्यालय आजमगढ़ से 468 महाविद्यालय संबद्ध हैं, जिनमें 14 अनुदानित अशासकीय महाविद्यालय, 4 राजकीय महाविद्यालय और 450 स्व-वित्तपोषित महाविद्यालय शामिल हैं।

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment as per University
Act/Statutes/UP Government/Chancellor orders/UGC and AICTE norms for the vacant teaching posts in
various Teaching Departments of the University Campus. The duly filled online downloaded application form
along with all documents must reach the office of the Registrar, Maharaja Suhel Dev State university,
Azamgarh through Registered/Speed Post on or before 23.04.2025 by 05.00 PM. 05.05.2025
