🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• Associate Professor

(i) Postgraduate degree in Sciences or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Commerce or Languages with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

 (ii) M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade. 

 (iii) Ph.D. in Education. 

 (iv) Ten years of teaching experience in a Teacher Education Institution. 

 (v) Any other relevant qualifications prescribed by the University Grants Commission from time to time. 

 Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.

• Assistant Professor

(i) Postgraduate degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade. 

 (ii) M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

 (iii) National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or any other qualifications prescribed by University Grants Commission.

 Desirable: Ph.D. in Education

• Assistant Professor (Art Education)

(i) Postgraduate degree in Performing or Visual Arts with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade. 

 (ii) National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Arts or any other qualifications prescribed by University Grants Commission.

 (iii) M.A. in Education with specialization in Art Education.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated pay of Rs 65,000/- per month or as per the institute rule. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pension/gratuity etc. is applicable. Free hotel/hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided, if required.

📝 HOW TO APPLY

The duly filled application form must be submitted in soft copy (PDF only) along with the scanned copies of original documents mentioned in the application form, published paper (if any), etc. for verification. The interview will be called after scrutiny of the application forms. The mode of interview (online/offline) with any additional details (written test, presentation, etc.) will be communicated, thereafter.

 2. An incomplete form shall not be considered for shortlisting, and the criteria for shortlisting shall be as per the institute’s requirements and norms. 

 3. The duly filled application form should be sent to email id: elsa.cherian@nitm.ac.in. The subject of the email should be “Application for Guest Faculty in B.Sc.-B.Ed. Programmes”. The last date to submit the application form via email is 20th May 2026 (12 midnight). 

 4. The interview date and time will be notified to the shortlisted candidates. 

 5. Candidates must write the correct and valid email id in their application forms as all the correspondence will be through this email id only. 

 6. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. 

 7. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof. 8. The position is temporary, initially for a period of 6 months, which may be extended thereafter. 9. Candidate must be ready to join on 15th July 2026, if selected.
