Walk-in Interview for JRF and Software Developer Positions

The National Institute of Technology Raipur, recognized as an Institute of National Importance, is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Software Developer. These positions are part of a time-bound research project sponsored by the IBITF, DST, Government of India.

Project Overview

The project titled “AI-Driven Groundwater Iron Safety Framework for Tribal Mining Communities of Chhattisgarh” aims to address critical environmental challenges using advanced AI technologies. The project is a collaborative effort involving the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Information Technology at NIT Raipur, along with GEC Jagdalpur.

Qualification & Experience / Requirement

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant fields with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Alternatively, a B.E./B.Tech. from an Institute of National Importance with at least 80% marks or 8.5 CGPA is acceptable. Desirable qualifications include selection through national level examinations and proficiency in AI, Deep Learning, and programming languages like Python/R.

Salary / Remuneration / Pay Scale

The JRF position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000/- plus 20% HRA, while the Software Developer position offers a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 50,000/-.
