• Project title: “Learning State-Dependent Hawkes Processes with Gaussian Process Ker nels for Modeling Dynamic Contagion”
• Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Puneet Pasricha, Department of Mathematics, IIT Ropar

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

(i) Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science/Finance from a recognized institute and with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10.0 point scale (or 65% marks) + good GATE/NET score. (ii) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics&Computing from a recognized institute and with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10.0 point scale (or 65% marks) + good GATE/NET score

 Essential Skills: • Good working knowledge of Python programming. • Strong foundation in Probability and Stochastic Processes. 

Desirable Qualities: • Background in Machine Learning and Finance. • Experience with Python libraries for machine learning and data analysis (e.g., NumPy, Pan das, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch)

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

INR 37000 + HRA (as per norms)
