The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. Established in the year 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala. The walk-interview for the appointment of Assistant Professors in the following subjects on hourly remuneration basis for the newly started Integrated P G Programmes in Bio-Sciences, Physical Sciences and Developmental Economics will be held at the PVC’s Office in the Administration Block, University of Calicut as per the following schedule

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor in the UGC Regulations 2018. In the absence of qualified candidates, those without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at Masters Degree will also be considered.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The Assistant Professors on hourly basis with minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor shall be eligible for a remuneration at the rate of ₹ 1,700/- per session of one and half hours, subject to a maximum of ₹ 42,000/- per month. Assistant Professors on hourly basis without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at Masters Degree are eligible for a remuneration at the rate of ₹ 850/- per session of one and half hours, subject to a maximum of ₹ 25,000/- per month

📝 HOW TO APPLY
- The appointments on hourly basis shall be for a period up to the end of the academic year 2021- 2022.
- No appointment made in one academic year shall extend to the next academic year. Reengagement will not be considered after the completion of the term of the appointment.
- Candidates should produce Original Certificates to prove Age and Qualifications at the time interview.
- Candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from other Universities should produce Equivalency/Recognition Certificate at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the journey to attend the interview. Candidates should reach at the office of the PVC, Administrative Block one hour before the stipulated time on the day of interview for certificate verification
