Position Details

  • Designation: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Project Scheme: Advanced Research Grant (ARG)
  • Principal Investigator: Dr. T. Saravanan, Associate Professor, School of Chemistry
  • Area of Research: Asymmetric Organic Synthesis & Photobiocatalysis
  • Fellowship Amount: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA @ 24% (or) Rs. 30,000/- per month + HRA @ 24% (as per ANRF norms)
  • Tenure: Three (03) years, co-terminus with the project
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxation as per ANRF/Govt. of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates)
  • Place of Work: School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad 500 046

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university.
  • National Eligibility: Must have qualified in a national-level examination conducted by central government departments/agencies such as UGC, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with hands-on laboratory experience in relevant fields will be given preference.
