The National Institute of Technology Agartala, in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology Patna, is pleased to announce a Two Week Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Digital Twin and AI-Driven Solutions for Sustainable EV Mobility” scheduled from 6th July 2026 to 18th July 2026. This program is designed to equip educators, researchers, and industry professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in the integration of Digital Twin (DT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies for smart energy systems.
Program Overview
This FDP aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the synergy between digital twin, AI, and EV technologies, focusing on their application in smart energy systems. Participants will explore the latest advancements in these fields, learning about AI applications in smart energy grids, DT-enabled EV charging infrastructure, and more. The program blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications, fostering a collaborative environment for research and innovation.
Key Objectives
- Understanding the role of DT-enabled AI and EV technology in smart charging systems.
- Exploring AI and ML methods for control and optimization in digital twin development.
- Learning about recent trends in AI DT-enabled EV charging infrastructure and standards.
- Investigating IoT-driven V2G/G2V and V2X technologies.
- Implementing HIL and PHIL in smart energy systems for real-time simulation.
Program Structure
The FDP will be conducted online, featuring 24 hours of theory sessions, 16 hours of lab sessions, and 2 hours dedicated to pedagogy and writing tools. Participants will engage in expert-led live online hands-on learning and interactive query sessions. E-certificates will be awarded to those who attend more than 70% of the sessions and complete the online assessments.
Who Can Participate?
The program is open to faculty members, research scholars from recognized universities in India and abroad, and industry personnel. Selection will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, with a maximum of 100 participants.
