Faculty (Marine Engineering): Essential qualifications include a Directorate General (Shipping) recognized MEO Class I and a minimum of six months sailing experience at the Management level as per the STCW convention. Desirable qualifications include six months of teaching/training experience in Maritime Training Institutes in India, VICT / TOTA Course Certificate, and AECS and TSTA Course Certificate.
Faculty Nautical Science (Master Mariner): Essential qualifications include a Director General of Shipping (DGS) recognized Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency and a minimum of six months sailing experience at the Management level as per the STCW Convention.
