💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION

  • Junior Research Fellow

🎯Project Details

  • Title of the Project – “Impact of climate change on vulnerable aquifer systems in and around industrial and mining areas of Damodar River Basin (Eastern India) using GIS based Modified DRASTIC Model and Global Climate Model”
  •  Principal Investigator –  Prof. Anshumali 
  •  Tenure of Project –  18 months The position is purely temporary/contractual, initially for one year (can be extended upon satisfactory performance) and co-terminus with the project. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must be GATE/NET qualified and hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geo-informatics, Geography, Geology, Remote Sensing and GIS, or an M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, or Remote Sensing and GIS. Experience in Remote Sensing, GIS, Land Use and Hydrogeology Software, Modelling, and Field Research Work is preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

The fellowship is Rs. 37,000 per month.
