🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

The details of the required qualifications & experience along with other relevant information are available on the Institute Website. Minimum qualifications include:

• Engineering Departments: Masters Degree with B.E./B.Tech in First Class or equivalent grade in the respective branch of Engineering.
• Architecture & Planning: Masters degree (Architecture or Planning) with B. Arch in First Class or equivalent grade.
• Science Departments: M.Phil / Ph.D. The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

As Per Norms. Consolidated remuneration (without any allowances):

• M.Sc. / M.A.: ₹55,000 per month
• M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Phil.: ₹60,000 per month
• Ph.D.: ₹70,000 per month (Remuneration under revision)

Candidates should bring the filled-in form with them in the prescribed format, which can be downloaded from the institute website www.vnit.ac.in, with a passport size photo affixed on it, Bio-data, relevant original certificates & one set of self-attested copies of these certificates along with ID proof.

Only eligible candidates are invited for the walk-in selection process which may include a Written Test (Based on UG Syllabus of the respective Department) / Personal Interview on Monday, 13th July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the respective Department. Candidates should report to the respective Departments at 9:00 AM positively. Reporting after 10:00 AM shall not be considered for the selection process.
