•  Project Title -“Rational design and development of multifunctional elcctrocatalysts for simultaneous carbon dioxide valorization and energy storage in batteries.“

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• The candidate must hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant allied discipline from a premier and recognized national/international institute.

• The applicant must have published at least 3 research papers as first author in renowned international journals (SCI-indexed) from his/her PhD research.

Desirable qualifications:

• Research work in the domain of carbon dioxide valorization and energy storage in batteries.

• Prior knowledge and experience with density functional theory (DFT)-based computational modeling in the context of carbon dioxide valorization and energy storage devices.

• Relevant expertise and hands-on experience with various physico-chemical (XRD, TEM, SEM, XPS, etc.) and electrochemical (CV. LSV, CCD. FIS. etc.) characterization techniques.

♦Candidates who have recently submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply, subject to the condition that they should furnish proof of the award of a PhD degree at the time of interview if shortlisted.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The duration of the fellowship will be 2 years. A consolidated fellowship of Rs. 80,000/- + HRA (as applicable) per month for 2 years and a contingency of Rs. 50,000/- per annum will be awarded to postdoctoral fellows. The fellowship may be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice.
