🎯Project Details

• Title of the Research Project: “Computational design of 2D materials and their interfaces for a high out-of-plane piezoelectricity”
• Principal Investigator: Prof. Abir De Sarkar, Scientist-G
• Funded by – ‘ANRF’
• Duration: Six months or till the project end whichever is earlier, with the potential for transition to a Ph.D. position subject to performance, eligibility, and availability of a vacancy. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

 M.Sc. Degree in Physics Or M.Tech. degree in Material Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests–CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or JEST. (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Desirable Experience: Experience in scientific computing, Nanoscience and nanotechnology will be preferred. 

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of ₹37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per norms.

The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum till the completion of the project.
