🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Research Associate: PhD degree in Genetics /Plant Breeding/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ allied disciplines of Life Sciences.
Research experience in gene expression, sequence analysis, marker development, multiplexing, molecular breeding and estimation of nutritional field crops
Senior Research Fellow: Master’s degree in Genetics /Plant Breeding/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Seed Science & Technology /Biotechnology/ allied disciplines of Life Sciences, with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years’ Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ Master’s degree must have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as prescribed under ICAR guidelines.
Research experience in genetics, breeding and application of molecular markers
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Research Associate: Rs 67,000/- + HRA/ month
Senior Research Fellow: Rs.37,000/- + HRA/month for 1st and 2nd year; Rs.42,000/- + HRA/month for 3rd year, as applicable under ICAR norms.
