- Title of The Project – “Development of Innovative Extraction Method for Safer Extraction of Coal Seam by Underground Method with Higher Productivity and Percentage of Extraction using Continuous Mining System“
- Principal Investigator- Prof. Arka Jyoti Das, Assistant Professor
- Co-pI – Prof. R. M. Bhattacharjee. Professor, Department of Mining Engineering, IIT(ISM), Prof. P. S. Paul, Professor, Department of Mining Engineering, IIT(ISM)
- Tenure of Project – Twelve Months (12) or Co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
• B.E. / B.Tech. in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering
Or
M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech./M.Tech. in Mining Engineering. Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, Geological Technology, Tunnelling & Underground Space Technology, Rock Engineering and Underground Structures. The candidates must have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET._
Desirable Qualification- • M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant specializations related to Mining, Rock Mechanics, Geotechnical, or allied fields
• Knowledge on underground coal mining and numerical simulation software like FLAC3D/3DEC.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 37,000/- per month + admissible HRA in case hostel accommodation is not available.
