🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural/Horticultural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in genetic transformation of Solanaceae plants like tomato or chilli crops, genomics, GWAS, and molecular cloning techniques used for gene editing technologies like CRISPR-Cas systems. Candidates with hands-on experience in both Genomics and CRISPR technology are highly desirable.
Laboratory Technician
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Agricultural Sciences, Horticultural Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university. • Basic knowledge of laboratory practices, including sample handling, preparation of solutions and reagents, maintenance of laboratory records, and safe handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
I. Rs. 37,000/- + 10% HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests or equivalent examinations.
II. Rs. 30,000/- + 10% HRA for others who do not fall under the above category.
Laboratory Technician – Rs. 20,000/- + 9% HRA
