- Ph. D / M. Phil in Comparative Literature
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential: MA with at least 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC) or equivalent degree/grade in Comparative Literature or allied/relevant disciplines and NET (or Ph. D degree as per UGC regulations, 2009) as well as a good academic record and proficiency in English.
Desirable: Ph. D / M. Phil in Comparative Literature or allied/relevant discipline and teaching experience as well as orientation for technology mediated teaching-learning process.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Emoluments: As per current University norms, Guest Faculty would be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500/-
(Rs. One Thousand and Five Hundred only) per lecture basis subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- (Rs.
Fifty Thousand only) per month for teaching two full courses in accordance with the revised UGC 2019
guidelines for Guest Faculty. Also, as per F&A rules, 10% or 20%, respectively for those with and without
PAN, may be deducted towards income tax, unless a certificate of exemption from a competent authority
is submitted.
