🎯Project Details

• Project title: “Initiation from stagnant lid to modern day Plate Tectonics: Constraints from Interleaved Eoarchean Gneisses and Charnockites in the west Bastar Craton.”
•  ARG-ANRF-sponsored project.
• Duration: The appointment will initially be till 31st April, 2026. The appointment may be extended based on the availability of funds (likely to continue till 30th April, 2029). The PI reserves the right to terminate the appointment with one month’s notice based on the candidate’s performance. The appointment will be on a purely contractual basis, and the PI/Institute/Funding agency will not have any financial or consequential obligations for the appointee. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Applied Geology. A Bachelor’s Degree should be in Geology, with a combination of either Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree in the specified fields will not be considered.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is ₹37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable.
