• Project Title- “Program to enhance the use of Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology & Genome Editing for Collaborative Research in Biological and Biomedical Sciences“
• Duration – One year; Renewable for another year upon satisfactory progress in the research project
• Funding Agency for the Project – ANRF Prime Minister Professorship (PMP) Scheme
• Principal Investigator (PI) –   Prof. Srinivasan Chandrasegaran

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

1. Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.Tech), including a minimum of two years of experience in R&D in an industry or academic institution in Life Sciences than includes Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or Microbiology.

2. Relevant research experience in molecular biology techniques includes synthetic biology, genome editing by CRISPR C as9. rDNA. and culturing and transformation algal species.

Additional Desirable Qualifications: Know ledge of AlphaFold analysis and AI/ML
