🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Program Coordinator 

Applicants must have a master’s degree in social sciences or law with adequate knowledge of forest and land rights, forest laws, policy, and institutions, and community engagement work. 

 Ability to analyse and document policy, case laws and field insights 

Conduct field work in rural areas independently 

 Ability to coordinate with government and civil society groups in Maharashtra, and organise training and capacity building programs independently 

Basic skills in Excel, SPSS, GPS and GIS 

 Must be speaking and writing in Marathi

 Research/District Field Coordinators 

 Applicants must have a master’s degree in social sciences or law with adequate knowledge on forest rights act, forest laws, policy, and institutions, and a minimum of two years of rural field experience. 

Ability to coordinate with government and civil society groups at the district and local levels in Maharashtra, and organise training and capacity building programs on forest rights and policies for government officers and Gram Sabha members independently 

Conduct field work in rural areas independently, and have the ability to mentor village coordinators

 Good at analysis, documentation on policy, case laws, write case studies from field insights 

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

Program Coordinator – Rs. 60000 (consolidated)

District-cum Research Coordinators – Rs. 50000 (consolidated)
