🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.
The details of the required qualifications & experience along with other relevant information are available on the Institute Website.
1. Research Investigator (RI): Graduate in any discipline with experience in data collection in remote tribal areas. Preference for BSW graduates. Fluency in Marathi and English is required.
2. Research Assistant (RA): Post-Graduate in any discipline with experience in data collection and fieldwork monitoring. Preference for MSW graduates. Fluency in Marathi and English is required.
3. Research Officer (RO): PhD in Social Work or Social Sciences with a focus on education. Candidates about to submit their PhD or awaiting viva are eligible. Masters in Social Work with a focus on tribal issues is also considered.
4. Secretariate-cum-Accountant: Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of accounts and digital skills. Willingness to engage in secretarial work is essential.
Note: candidates from tribal zones (Thane, Nashik, Amaravati and Nagpur) with a tribal background and knowledge of tribal dialect/language will be given preference.
Project work will start from Mid-June 2026 and data collection will go on till September end 2026.

The positions are based in Maharashtra, with fieldwork across four tribal zones and 22 districts.
