  • Title of the Project “Understanding the topological aspects of extreme QCD matter through their interactions with jets”

  • Tenure – The position is temporary for an initial period of one year, extendable for one additional year based on a satisfactory performance review, for a maximum total duration of two years. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Experimental High-Energy/Nuclear Physics, with a preference for those experienced in data analysis, relativistic heavy-ion collisions, and related fields. Proficiency in C++/Python, ROOT, and high-energy physics Monte Carlo event generators is essential. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. may also apply.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship is Rs.58,000 per month plus 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate. For those awaiting their Ph.D. degree, the fellowship is Rs.42,000 per month plus 10% HRA, provided they submit a letter confirming thesis submission.
