🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.
The candidate must have an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related disciplines OR a B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Materials Science, Energy Systems, or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institution with a good academic record. Desirable qualifications include CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification or any other national-level examination recognized by ANRF. Experience in fungal cultivation, biomass processes, carbon capture, adsorption studies, material characterization, environmental biotechnology/engineering, and scientific writing will be preferred.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
As Per Norms
For candidates qualified through CSIR-level examination recognized by ANRF: Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 + HRA per month for the first two years, Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹42,000 + HRA per month for the third year, subject to satisfactory performance and approval as per ANRF norms. For candidates not possessing the above qualification, they may be considered for a lower fellowship as per prevailing ANRF norms: ₹30,000 + HRA per month for the first two years, ₹33,000 + HRA per month for the third year, subject to satisfactory performance and approval as per ANRF norms.
