🎯 Project Details

  • Title of the Project  – “Annual Inspection of Grossly Polluting Industries (GPI) in the main stem states of River Ganga and Yamuna-2026”
  • Sponsor Agency – Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB)
  •  Principal Investigator – Dr. Kapil Kumar Assistant Professor and Head Department of Civil Engineering National Institute of Technology Delhi

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

  • Principal Project Associate

Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD from recognized University or equivalent in relevant areas of discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) and upto 4 years’ experience in R & D industrial and academic institutions. OR Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/Master Degree in Natural/Agriculture Science/Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent and 6-8 years of experience with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10).

Desirable Qualification 

• Consistent good academic records and knowledge in the relevant area. • Prior working experience in a similar project. • More than one year of Experience in the GPI Project. • Award of Ph.D. before the date of interview. • GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET qualified. • Proficient in computing skills, drafting, statistical software modelling. • For both, at least 02 Research Papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal 

Senior Project Associate 

Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma/ MD from recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10). OR Four-year Bachelor’s degree/Master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognised university or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) and 2-4 years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions. 

 Project Associate-I

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science or Agricultural Science/ Engineering/ Master Degree in Science/ Natural Science or Agricultural Science from recognized university or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10)

Field Worker

Graduate degree in any discipline  

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Principal Project Associate -Monthly Emoluments Rs. 67,000.00+ 30% HRA 

Senior Project Associate  – Monthly Emoluments Rs. 57,000.00+ 30% HRA

 Project Associate-I -Rs. 37,000.00+ 30% HRA (GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET qualified) OR 30,000.00 + 30% HRA (If GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET are not qualified)  \

Field Worker -Rs. 24,000.00+ 30% HRA
