1. Eligible persons may submit their applications through online mode only by visiting HBTU, Kanpur website http:/vww.hbtu.ac.in.

2. Applicants must fully satisfy themselves about their eligibility as prescribed in the advertisement, If an applicant is in advertently

made eligible and allowed to appear in the Written Test/Interview, who otherwise does not fulfil the minimum eligibility criterion,

his/her candidature for further stage of selection will be cancelled.

3. The last date for submitting the complete application with all documents in online mode is 26-06-2026 (Thursday) till 05:00 pm

4. The candidates are required to submit the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (for UR/OBC/EWS) or Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST) as applicable

through the payment link available on the online application form.

5. All eligible Candidates shall be required to appear for a Written Test scheduled on 19-07-2026.

6. All information related to display on API Scores, eligibility related to written test, interview would be displayed on the University

website www.hbtu.ac.in under the “Assistant Professor (on Contract) Recruitment 2026-27”

7. Any corrigendum/changes/updates shall be made available only on the University website: vvww.hbtu.ac.in. The candidates are

advised to keep visiting the University website regularly for updates, if any.

8. The reservation of SC,ST,OBC, EWS, pwd shall be as per UP Government Rules.

9. I -UR & 1 -OBC is reserved for pwd.

10. The remuneration for Assistant Professor (on Contract) will be Rs.57700/- Fixed.

11. The number of posts advertised is indicative and the University reserves the right not to fill up any post, decrease or increase the

number of posts.

12. The selected candidates shall have to sign a contract Agreement on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper, before joining the concerned

department.
