• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

🎯Project Title

• Development of cost-effective, bioactive titanium alloys for orthopedic implants with low modulus, high strength, and tribocorrosion resistance: Integrating alloy design with duplex nanoscale surface engineering.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must have a B.E/BTech/M.E./MTech/M.Sc(Engineering) in Metallurgy/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Ceramic or M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science with a minimum of 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA. A valid GATE score is required for B.E./BTech candidates, while M.E./MTech/M.Sc candidates should also have a valid GATE score.

Desirable Qualification:

Candidates with prior knowledge/experience in one or more of the following experimental studies of metallic materials:

1. Alloy design and/or metal casting

2. Materials characterization

3. Mechanical behaviour and/or mechanical testing

4. Electrochemistry and corrosion of metallic materials

5. Physical metallurgy of titanium alloys

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The salary for the Junior Research Fellow position is ₹37,000 per month for the first two years and ₹42,000 per month for the third year.
